Ο μετασχηματισμός που προτάθηκε στην εργασία 8 επεκτείνεται για την περίπτωση των παραμορφωμένων υπερδομών. Ορίζουμε πρώτα ένα πλέγμα που είναι συμβατό με την υπερδομή και προσδιορίζουμε την καινούργια βάση. Δείχνουμε ότι στην καινούργια βάση είναι δυνατή η εφαρμογή της θεωρίας διαταραχών με πολύ καλά αποτελέσματα. Επίσης τη διηλεκτρική συνάρτηση με τη διηλεκτρική συνάρτηση του συμβατού πλέγματος βρίσκουμε τις οπτικές μεταπτώσεις, οι οποίες προέρχονται από το καινούργιο δυναμικό της τεχνιτής υπερδομής.
